Of proud Samoan heritage, Tana traces his roots to the beautiful villages of Saleapaga and Lalomanu in Apia. Together with his wife, who is originally from Tauranga, they chose to settle in her hometown so their two daughters could grow up on their whenua, surrounded by whānau and community.

Tana brings a wealth of experience in retail management, with a strong background in the pharmacy sector. He has led high-performing, cross-functional teams, consistently delivering strong results in operations, customer service, and staff development. His achievements include receiving the NZ Outstanding Pharmacy Team Award—supported by Pfizer, Pharmacy Today, and ProPharm—as well as a national Top Sales Award.

Now settled in Tauranga, Tana is passionate about giving back to the community. He is deeply aligned with The Centre for Health’s values of whānau, connection, and care, and is committed to creating a welcoming, people-first environment for both staff and clients.
